Matthew 4:4 - But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
4:9 - And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me. (Mathew 4:1-10) 4:10 - Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. 4:23 - And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people. 4:24 - And his fame went throughout all Syria: and they brought unto him all sick people that were taken with divers (many) diseases and torments, and those which were possessed with devils, and those which were lunatick, and those that had the palsy; and he healed them. Matthew 6:20 - But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: 6:21 - For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. 6:31 - Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? 6:32 - (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. 6:33 - But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. 6:34 - Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. Matthew 7:7 - Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: 7:8 - For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. Colossians 1:13 - Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: Colossians 1:11 - Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness; |
